The Wisconsin Credit Union League in Madison and Pewaukee, WI, is the dues-supported trade association for more than 200 Wisconsin credit unions.  The League is dedicated to serving member credit unions throughout the state and proud to espouse the “Credit Union Difference” through advocacy, education and public service. CUNA (Credit Union National Association), based in Washington, D.C., and Madison, Wisconsin, is the premier national trade association serving America’s credit unions. The not-for-profit trade group is governed by volunteer directors who are elected by their credit union peers. In partnership with state credit union leagues, CUNA provides many services to credit unions, including representation, information, public relations, continuing professional education, and business development. Website.

CUNA Mutual Group.  Their collaborative relationship with credit unions dates back to their founding in 1935, when the vision of credit union pioneers to provide insurance for members led to the creation of CUNA Mutual Society. National Credit Union Foundation (NCUF).  As the philanthropic and social responsibility leader of America’s credit union movement, NCUF raises funds, makes grants, manages programs, and provides education empowering consumers to achieve financial independence through credit unions. Website

World Council of Credit Unions (WOCCU) is the global trade association and development agency for credit unions. WOCCU promotes the sustainable development of credit unions and other financial cooperatives around the world to empower people through access to high quality and affordable financial services. WOCCU advocates on behalf of the global credit union system before international organizations and works with national governments to improve legislation and regulation.
